We start our 2-day shared tour from Marrakech to the Zagora desert early, heading towards the High Atlas.
We cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass, enjoying the impressive mountain scenery and the small Berber villages along the road.
Our first special stop is an argan cooperative run by women from the Berber community. Here we learn how the argan fruit is traditionally worked and discover some of the products made from it, such as argan oil and various cosmetic and food products.
We continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of the best-known places in southern Morocco. We will have time to stroll through its old streets and discover its spectacular earthen architecture.
We then follow our route to Ouarzazate and cross mountain landscapes and valleys until we reach the Draa Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and old kasbahs.
In the afternoon we continue to Zagora, where our desert experience begins.
We ride into the dunes by camel, enjoying the scenery and the sunset. At the camp we enjoy a traditional dinner and a night under the desert sky, with Berber music and atmosphere.
We get up early to watch the sunrise over the Zagora desert, one of the most special moments of the tour.
After breakfast we ride back by camel to the meeting point, where our driver will be waiting to start the journey back to Marrakech.
On the way we cross the Draa Valley and the landscapes of southern Morocco again, making the planned stops along the route.
We arrive in Marrakech at the end of the day, after an experience that combines culture, landscapes, tradition and desert.
Prices per activity, separate from the tour price.
